Description

“The three nature reserves of Luxembourg”

CHINESE VERSION

Luxembourg’s three nature reserves together occupy about one-third of the country’s territory.

While the two nature reserves of Obersauer and Our are located in the Ardennes in the North of Luxembourg, the Müllerthal nature preserve extends from the middle of the country to its eastern edge. The nature reserve regions are excellent holiday resorts for all nature, culture and sports enthusiasts. The purpose of the nature reserve in Luxembourg is to maintain sensitive landscapes and at the same time enable an economic development of the regions.

The year 2015 is a milestone for the nature preserves in the history of nature reserves in Luxembourg, with the official establishment of the Müllerthal nature reserve and the extension of the Obersauer and Our nature reserves.
