Issue of the first Luxembourg 3D stamp

On the occasion of Luxembourg’s National Day, celebrated each year on June 23, POST Luxembourg is issuing the first Luxembourg stamp printed in 3D. This is a special edition of the philatelic block from the definitive series dedicated to HRH Grand Duke Guillaume, originally issued in May 2026.

Manufactured by the Austrian company Hämmerle & Vogel, the block was produced using an innovative technology: a liquid photopolymer is applied to the stamp sheets in the form of very fine droplets, which are then hardened under UV light. Additional droplets are subsequently applied. Layer by layer, the monogram on the block takes shape in relief. The final result is flexible, with a soft and pleasant surface.

Sales information
This special edition will be released on 22 June 2026 and will be available exclusively via the POST Philately e-shop and at the Philatelic Counter in the Espace POST Luxembourg-Gare. Limited to 1,000 copies, the 3D-printed block will be sold at a price of €30.

Due to the materials used in the design of the stamp, there will exceptionally be no special cancellation for this issue.
