On March 25th, the 80th Congress of the FSPL took place at the Capellen Cultural Center in Mamer. The day began at 10:30 am with a speech by Ralph Letsch, the president of the Cercle Philatélique Mamer, followed by a speech by FSPL president Jos Wolff on the organization's development and previous conferences. Emile Espen, head of the philately department at POST Luxembourg, presented his thoughts on the future of philately.

After the shared lunch at Café du Commerce, there was a special surprise: the "80th FSPL Congress cake" with a "marzipan stamp" as dessert. The president of the FSPL, Jos Wolff, thanked the Mamer stamp collector's association for the excellent organization and presented the traveling trophy for the highest increase in members in 2022 to the president of the Hollerich-Bonneweg stamp association, Maurice Kirsch.

At 2:30 pm, President Jos Wolff opened the 80th FSPL Congress.
