To mark the accession to the throne of HRH Grand Duke Guillaume on 3 October 2025, POST Philately will release three special products.

Stamp block

Designed by Jill Els, the block is intended “as a symbolic narrative marking the accession of HRH the Grand Duke,” highlighting key moments in his journey: his family, his connection to nature, his international responsibilities, and his commitment to scouting. With golden accents, the block symbolises the beginning of a new historical era for the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

Decorative sheet

Created by Lea Schroeder, the sheet illustrates “the transmission of a dynasty in harmony with Luxembourg’s core values: continuity, unity, and closeness.” The portrait of the Grand Ducal couple is complemented by strong symbols such as the Gëlle Fra, the Grand Ducal Palace, and the Luxembourg flag.

The block and the sheet will be available from 3 October 2025 in all Espaces POST and post offices, at the Philatelic Counter, and on the POST Philately e-shop – www.postphilately.lu.


Philatelic set – Accession to the throne

In addition, POST Philately will issue a philatelic set containing both the block and the sheet, presented in a special folder.
