Handover of Esch2022 special stamps

On 17 May 2022, the Director General of POST Luxembourg, Claude Strasser, and Emile Espen, Head of POST Philately, handed over several souvenir frames with special Esch2022 stamps to the persons responsible for Esch2022. Indeed, POST Luxembourg issued on 22.02.22 a special stamp and a booklet of stamps on this subject.

This evening was also the occasion to present the joint stamps' edition by Kaunas 2022 and Esch2022, European Capitals of Culture. While Esch2022 chose the theme "Remix", Kaunas' motto "from temporary to contemporary" reflects its own history during the 20th century.

The Esch2022 stamps, published by POST Philately, are available in the e-shop and at the philatelic counter (13, rue Robert Stümper, Cloche d'Or).
