Philatelic tribute
On the ground floor, the exhibition pays philatelic tribute to HRH the Grand Duke, retracing his journey from childhood to the present day. Whether alone, alongside HRH the Grand Duchess, or surrounded by his children, Grand Duke Henri has often been featured on Luxembourgish stamps on various occasions: royal wedding, anniversaries of his accession to the throne, or even the ruby wedding anniversary. In addition to special philatelic products, the Grand Duke also appears on definitive stamps.
A philatelic product in “Deluxe” edition
Following the issue of Luxembourg’s first embroidered stamp in May 2025, celebrating the jubilee of HRH the Grand Duke’s accession to the throne, POST Philately will launch a new “Deluxe” philatelic product on
20 June 2025. This stamp features the small coat of arms of HRH the Grand Duke, adorned with crystals of Austrian origin. The philatelic product will be sold at 150 € (stamp + wooden box) and is limited to
1.000 copies.
A part of the exhibition will be dedicated to this special philatelic product, designed by the Austrian company Hämmerle & Vogel GmbH & Co KG. Visitors will be able to discover the various stages of its creation through photos and videos.

This stamp completes the series of special stamps issued in May 2025 for the 25
th anniversary of HRH the Grand Duke’s accession to the throne: stamps of the Grand Ducal couple in two colour variants, as well as the embroidered stamp.
