Mark Heine is a Canadian artist who has worked on stamp designs for the Canadian, United States, Liechtenstein and Luxembourg post offices. In total, the artist has designed illustrations for 40 stamp commissions.
Born in 1961, into a family of artists, Mark Heine was awarded the BC Lieutenant-Governor's Art Scholarship at age 18. Four years later, he graduated with honours from the Applied Arts Program at Capilano University.
The artist currently lives in beautiful Victoria on Vancouver Island, with his partner and their two daughters.
