There are many subspecies of wildcat. Usually wildcats have a brown coat with black stripes.

The wildcat is a species of feline of the Felidae family.


Felines of the world

Felids, or felines, share many of the same characteristics. They have fewer teeth than other animals, and their jaw can only move vertically. They have retractable claws used to inflict wounds and excellent night vision.

They are hunters at heart, eating a carnivorous diet, and are highly adept at running and jumping.
