Description

The Luxembourgish linguist Hélène Palgen was born in 1902 in Echternach. She ran the girls’ grammar school in Luxembourg as its director until 1967. Hélène Palgen was one of the first researchers to study the Luxembourgish language in a scientific manner. Her publications include studies on regional characteristics of the Luxembourgish language.
