Description

Antoine Hirsch was born in 1868 and died in 1934. He studied engineering in Liège and architecture in Aachen. He first worked in Augsburg than for the Maus Company in Frankfurt am Main. In 1897, he became director of the “Ecole des Arts et Métiers” in Luxembourg. Moreover, Antoine Hirsch was also a painter and an author. He also dedicated some of his publications to the representation of women in art.
