The Fédération Luxembourgeoise de Tennis de Table (FLTT) includes 93 clubs with 4,200 members. It manages a well developed system of competitions for individuals and teams, for all age categories.
The FLTT was founded on 15 October 1936, by representatives of 6 table tennis clubs (Tennis Club Diddeléng, Ping Pong Lëtzebuerg, Le Progrès Mondorf, Sportclub Maccabi, Tennis a Ping-Pong Mondorf, Gréiwemaacher Ping-Pong) during a meeting at the Café Métropole at the Bourse. Frantz Think was the President.
After World War II, the number of clubs continued to grow, making the federation one of the biggest in the country.
Luxembourg's table tennis players, especially the female players, have distinguished themselves on the international stage with some exceptional performances, including 18 titles for "Best Team of the Year".
The FLTT has successfully organised 2 European qualification tournament for the Olympic Games, in 2008 and 2012.
