post philately pays tribute to the federation des societes philateliques du luxembourg (federation of luxembourg's philately societies) with the issue of a miniature sheet of stamps made of natural silk

for the 80th anniversary of the fspl, post philately issued a stamp where the top layer of the paper contains 30g of natural silk per square metre. the yarn used to make this stamp are the finest in existence. the final result is an extraordinary, silky luminous stamp.

the beauty of the stamp can be appreciated by everybody, however, it is mainly aimed at stamp collectors and admirers from around the world.
